November 19, 2013
The holidays are here. Thanksgiving is right around the corner which means Hanukah and Christmas aren’t far behind. That means 2013 is also coming to a close. How many of you hit all of your New Years’ resolutions from last year? How many of you are going to put the same resolution on the list for 2014?
One of my goals in 2013 was to give more, whether it was of my time or money. I’ve had plenty of opportunities to do so this year. Acting as the current MNAFP President is a way for me to give back to a great organization that I’ve benefited from over the years.
Another way I’m giving is to the new charity that MNAFP is partnering with this year. It's called Hope 4 Youth. Their mission is to serve youth experiencing homelessness through Housing, Outreach, Prevention and Education in Anoka County. I would encourage all of you to look at our website for more information about this great cause. We will be having a raffle at the December meeting and collecting money and donations for this organization.
Our December meeting will feature Fred Laing, II/ President of UMACHA. Fred will present What's Hot and What's Not with ACH. You can register for our MNAFP session here.
If you are interested in speaking/exhibiting/sponsoring our annual conference on April 29, 2014 - please check out our conference webpage here.
